- What it is
- Laguna Colombia State Ecological Park — that is its official name; commercially, Punta Sur Ecotourism Park is used —: lighthouse, lagoons, mangroves, beach, wildlife, museum, geotrail and an archaeological vestige.
- How long
- 6 hours.
- Opening hours
- Admission is from 9:00 to 16:00. No one may enter after 16:00. Visitors already inside may stay until 17:00 in the Navigation Museum and the Lighthouse area.Closed on Sundays; when the park opens on a Sunday, it is announced in advance, and there is no calendar: openings depend on initiatives as they arise. When the park opens on a Sunday, the lighthouse and the Navigation Museum open too: there is no day when the park is open and they are closed.

The way to Punta Sur
The button shows the location. When explaining it in person: approximately 40 minutes from the pier area, depending on traffic. There is no public transport to the park: visitors arrive in their own vehicle or by taxi. As a reference, a taxi for up to four people costs around 200 US dollars, including waiting time and the journey through the main park areas — that is why the fare is high: the taxi stays during the visit. This is not a Foundation fare: ask the taxi driver and agree on the price before boarding.
